As a Data Integrity Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the Enterprise Master Patient Index (EMPI), ensuring that patient records are accurate, up-to-date, and free from duplicates. Responsibility
- Monitor and maintain the integrity of the Enterprise Master Patient Index (EMPI) to ensure accurate patient identification.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies, duplicates, and inaccuracies in patient records.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and internal teams to verify and update patient information.
- Develop and implement data quality improvement initiatives to enhance the accuracy of patient records.
- Generate reports and analytics on data integrity metrics and trends.
- Provide training and support to healthcare staff on data integrity best practices.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations, including HIPAA.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to optimize data management processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in data management, healthcare information systems, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of data integrity principles and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data management tools and software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote environment.
- Knowledge of healthcare data standards and regulations is a plus.
