Responsibility
- Conduct thorough medical evaluations of adult and geriatric patients in post-operative and rehabilitation settings.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to patients’ medical histories, conditions, and recovery goals.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatments as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.
- Prescribe and administer medications, therapies, and interventions in accordance with clinical guidelines.
- Educate patients and families on post-operative care, rehabilitation exercises, and long-term health management.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and escalate critical cases to senior medical staff when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulatory and institutional standards.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution, with valid medical license to practice in Indonesia.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in geriatric care, post-operative recovery, or rehabilitation medicine.
- Proven ability to diagnose, treat, and manage complex medical conditions in adult and elderly patients.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical documentation best practices.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Commitment to continuing medical education and staying updated on evidence-based practices.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
