Responsibility
- Assist in developing and implementing data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data quality and compliance.
- Collaborate with business units to identify data quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Support the maintenance of data dictionaries, metadata repositories, and data lineage documentation.
- Participate in data stewardship activities, including data profiling, cleansing, and validation.
- Monitor and report on data governance metrics, such as data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
- Contribute to the design and execution of data governance training programs for employees.
- Assist in evaluating and recommending tools and technologies to enhance data governance capabilities.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to data governance.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of data governance principles, data quality management, or data compliance.
- Familiarity with data management tools, databases (SQL), or data visualization platforms is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Passion for data and a proactive attitude toward learning new technologies.
- Prior internship or project experience in data-related roles is advantageous.
