Responsibility
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources (e.g., sales, customer interactions, inventory) to identify trends and insights.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to visualize KPIs and business metrics for stakeholders.
- Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy, reducing manual data handling by 40%+.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, finance) to define data requirements and deliver actionable recommendations.
- Conduct A/B testing and statistical analysis to evaluate the impact of business strategies (e.g., promotions, pricing).
- Monitor data quality and integrity, implementing validation rules to ensure accuracy across systems.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in data analytics, recommending new tools or methodologies to enhance our analytical capabilities.
- Present findings to senior leadership through clear, concise reports and data storytelling techniques.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, preferably in e-commerce, retail, or tech industries.
- Proficiency in SQL (advanced queries, joins, subqueries) and Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Strong knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) and statistical analysis (regression, clustering).
- Familiarity with ETL processes, data warehousing (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery), and API integrations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders in a compelling manner.
