Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Optimize and manage large-scale databases for performance and reliability.
- Implement data quality checks and ensure data integrity across systems.
- Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and architectures.
- Automate data workflows using Python and other scripting languages.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues to ensure smooth operations.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience with data pipeline tools such as Apache Airflow, Spark, or similar.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies.
- Knowledge of database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
