Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance data pipelines to ingest, process, and store large-scale datasets.
- Collaborate with data architects and analysts to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Optimize existing data workflows for improved performance, reliability, and data quality.
- Implement data governance, security, and compliance protocols to ensure data integrity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production data issues, ensuring high availability of data systems.
- Automate manual data processes to drive operational efficiency across the data lifecycle.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve data infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, or software engineering.
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language such as Python or Java.
- Hands-on experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Kafka) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong understanding of data modeling, warehousing concepts, and schema design.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in an Agile/Scrum team environment.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems (Git) is a significant advantage.
