Responsibility
- Cloud Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and execute a comprehensive cloud and infrastructure strategy aligned with business goals, ensuring scalability, security, and cost optimization.
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of cloud engineers, DevOps specialists, and infrastructure experts.
- Architecture & Design: Oversee the design and implementation of multi-cloud and hybrid cloud architectures, leveraging best practices in microservices, containers, and serverless computing.
- Operational Excellence: Establish SLA-driven operational frameworks, including monitoring, incident response, and disaster recovery, to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Cost Management: Implement FinOps principles to optimize cloud spend, right-size resources, and forecast budget requirements.
- Security & Compliance: Enforce cloud security policies, IAM governance, and compliance with industry standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR).
- Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cloud providers, third-party vendors, and internal teams to align infrastructure with business needs.
- Innovation & Automation: Drive automation through CI/CD pipelines, IaC (Terraform, Ansible), and AI/ML-driven infrastructure optimization.
Qualifications
- Proven Experience: 10+ years in cloud and infrastructure leadership roles, with at least 5 years in a director-level or equivalent position.
- Cloud Expertise: Deep hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, including certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Architect).
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, networking (SDN, VPN), and database systems (SQL/NoSQL).
- DevOps & Automation: Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI), IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation), and scripting (Python, Bash).
- Security Mindset: Familiarity with cloud security tools (e.g., Prisma, GuardDuty) and compliance frameworks.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and influence executive stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with a track record of resolving complex infrastructure challenges.
- Communication: Excellent English proficiency and ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
