This is a remote internship position, allowing you to work from anywhere in Bali while enjoying a flexible and supportive work environment.
Responsibility
- Assist in designing, developing, and executing test cases to ensure software functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Collaborate with the QA team to identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
- Perform manual and automated testing (where applicable) to validate software requirements and user stories.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings to align with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionality.
- Assist in creating and maintaining test documentation, including test plans, test scripts, and defect reports.
- Work closely with developers to reproduce, debug, and resolve reported issues.
- Stay updated with the latest QA trends, tools, and best practices to contribute innovative ideas to the team.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and tools (e.g., manual testing, test case design).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Prior experience with bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) or testing frameworks is a plus.
- Passion for technology and eagerness to learn and grow in the field of software QA.
