As an L1 Application Monitoring Officer, you will be at the forefront of maintaining critical infrastructure, monitoring systems, and resolving incidents to guarantee optimal performance and uptime for our clients.

Responsibility
- Monitor and manage the performance of data centre infrastructure, including servers, networks, and applications, in real-time.
- Conduct proactive surveillance of NOC systems to detect and resolve incidents before they impact operations.
- Execute standard operating procedures (SOPs) for incident escalation, troubleshooting, and resolution.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation of all monitoring activities, incidents, and resolutions.
- Collaborate with L2/L3 support teams to investigate and resolve complex technical issues.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including system updates, backups, and patch management.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies for data security and operational efficiency.
- Provide timely reports on system performance, uptime, and incident trends to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in data centre operations, NOC monitoring, or IT infrastructure support.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, server hardware, and monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds).
- Familiarity with Linux/Windows server environments and basic scripting (Python, Bash).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a 24/7 operational environment.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or ITIL are a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Willingness to work in shift patterns (including nights, weekends, and public holidays).
