Responsibility
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot the studio’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and workstations.
- Provide first- and second-level technical support for production systems, software, and hardware.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and management of virtual and physical servers, storage systems, and backup solutions.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement security best practices, patch management, and access controls.
- Respond to and resolve technical incidents, minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth operations for creative teams.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing.
- Assist in evaluating and integrating new technologies to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Participate in on-call rotations to address critical issues outside of business hours.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1-2 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a similar role (internships count!).
- Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and networking fundamentals.
- Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud services (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose technical issues under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, Python) is advantageous.
- Passion for IT infrastructure and a proactive approach to learning new technologies.
