Responsibility
- Oversee daily operations of data centre facilities, ensuring 99.99% uptime and reliability.
- Manage and coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for maintenance and upgrades.
- Implement and enforce data centre policies, procedures, and compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, Uptime Institute).
- Monitor and optimize power, cooling, and security systems to ensure operational efficiency.
- Lead incident response and disaster recovery efforts to minimize downtime.
- Develop and maintain documentation for facility operations, including SOPs and emergency protocols.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential issues.
- Provide leadership and training to facility staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data centre facility management or operations.
- Fluency in Mandarin and English (written and spoken).
- Strong knowledge of data centre infrastructure, including power, cooling, and security systems.
- Experience with compliance standards such as ISO 27001, Uptime Institute, or similar.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Willingness to relocate or travel to Bali as needed.
