Responsibility
- Monitor and maintain critical power systems (UPS, generators, switchgear) to ensure 100% uptime.
- Oversee cooling infrastructure (CRAC/CRAH, chillers, cooling towers) and optimize for energy efficiency.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Conduct real-time system diagnostics and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement upgrades and capacity expansions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (ASHRAE, TIA-942, ISO 50001) and local regulations.
- Develop and update SOPs, maintenance logs, and incident reports for audit and improvement purposes.
- Participate in emergency response protocols and on-call rotations for 24/7 coverage.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in data centre critical facilities or similar high-availability environments.
- Strong knowledge of power distribution, UPS systems, generators, and cooling technologies.
- Familiarity with BMS (Building Management Systems) and SCADA for monitoring and control.
- Certifications such as CDCP, CFPS, or LEED AP are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Proficient in English (written and verbal) for technical documentation and team collaboration.
- Willingness to work in shift-based or on-call schedules as required.
