Responsibility
- Monitor and maintain data center systems, servers, and network infrastructure to ensure 99.9% uptime and optimal performance.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly system checks, including hardware, software, and environmental controls (e.g., cooling, power).
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, escalating complex problems to senior IT staff when necessary.
- Implement and enforce security protocols, access controls, and backup procedures to safeguard sensitive data.
- Document all operational activities, incidents, and resolutions in compliance with industry standards and bank policies.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of new IT equipment and software updates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support disaster recovery planning and business continuity initiatives.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in data center management to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in data center operations, IT infrastructure support, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of server hardware, networking (LAN/WAN), and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Cisco CCNA are highly advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to following security and compliance protocols.
- Willingness to work in shift-based schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required.
