Responsibility

  • Monitor and maintain data center infrastructure, including servers, networking equipment, and environmental systems.
  • Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance to ensure 99.9% uptime.
  • Respond to and resolve incidents, escalating issues as needed while documenting all actions in ticketing systems.
  • Manage physical security, access control, and compliance with data center policies and procedures.
  • Assist with hardware installations, cabling, and rack/stack operations following industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support deployments, migrations, and disaster recovery drills.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and asset tracking for all data center equipment.
  • Participate in shift handover meetings and provide detailed reports on operational status.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in data center operations or similar IT infrastructure roles.
  • 3+ years of helpdesk or technical support experience with a focus on troubleshooting.
  • ITIL v3/v4 Foundation certification (required); higher-level certifications are a plus.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and server hardware.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays) in a 24x7 environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure during critical incidents.
  • Familiarity with data center management tools (e.g., DCIM, monitoring software) is advantageous.
  • Fluent in English with strong documentation and communication skills.
