Responsibility
- Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans, schedules, and procedures to ensure optimal data center performance and uptime.
- Lead and supervise operations teams, contractors, and vendors to execute maintenance, repairs, and upgrades efficiently and safely.
- Monitor and analyze data center performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and organizational policies in all operational activities.
- Coordinate with IT, facilities, and engineering teams to align maintenance strategies with business objectives and infrastructure needs.
- Manage budgets, resources, and timelines for maintenance projects, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential operational disruptions.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by introducing innovative technologies and best practices in data center management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CDCP) are a plus.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in data center operations, maintenance, or project management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in managing critical infrastructure, including power, cooling, networking, and security systems.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards (e.g., TIA-942, ISO 27001, Uptime Institute Tier Standards) and compliance requirements.
- Excellent project management, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Experience working with vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in data center management tools (e.g., DCIM, CMMS) and Microsoft Project or similar software.
- Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and travel to various sites as needed.
