Responsibility
- Oversee daily operations of the data center, ensuring compliance with SLAs and industry standards.
- Manage and optimize data center infrastructure, including servers, networking, and cooling systems.
- Lead and mentor a team of technicians and engineers to maintain high performance and reliability.
- Develop and implement SOPs to improve operational efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Monitor facility performance, conduct audits, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure data integrity and disaster recovery readiness.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for hardware, software, and services.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, including security and environmental standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data center management or a similar role.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale data center operations with high availability.
- Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, and networking.
- Experience with ITIL, ISO 27001, or other relevant certifications is a plus.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
