Responsibility
- Monitor and maintain data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, and security systems.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve facility-related issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement upgrades and improvements.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate third-party services.
- Document maintenance activities and generate reports for management.
- Support emergency response protocols and disaster recovery plans.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data center facilities management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, UPS, generators, and fire suppression systems.
- Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., TIA-942, Uptime Institute).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in shifts and respond to emergencies as needed.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Certifications in data center operations (e.g., CDCP, CDCS) are a plus.
