Responsibility
- Conduct regular audits of healthcare data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Identify discrepancies, errors, or inconsistencies in data and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with IT and clinical teams to improve data collection, storage, and reporting processes.
- Develop and maintain audit trails, documentation, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyze data trends to provide insights that enhance operational efficiency and patient care.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy laws, including HIPAA and local regulations.
- Assist in the implementation of data governance policies and procedures.
- Provide training and support to staff on data management best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Data Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data auditing, analysis, or a similar role, preferably in healthcare.
- Strong knowledge of data management principles, regulatory compliance, and audit methodologies.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, or specialized auditing software.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to present findings and recommendations clearly.
- Certification in data auditing or healthcare compliance is a plus.
