Responsibility
- Provide first-level technical support to end-users, addressing hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems, including workstations, printers, and peripherals.
- Perform routine system checks and troubleshoot common IT problems to ensure minimal downtime.
- Support the setup and management of user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Collaborate with the IT team to deploy software updates and security patches across company devices.
- Document IT processes, issues, and resolutions to maintain an up-to-date knowledge base.
- Assist in network monitoring and basic troubleshooting for connectivity issues.
- Participate in IT projects, such as system upgrades or migrations, under supervisor guidance.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Computer Science, Information Technology, or related degree.
- Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and office productivity software.
- Familiarity with hardware components, networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and troubleshooting techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think logically under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to interact with non-technical users.
- Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude toward self-improvement in IT.
- Ability to commit to the contract/temporary internship duration (full-time or part-time as agreed).
- Prior experience with helpdesk support or IT internships is a plus but not required.
