Responsibility
- Develop, deploy, and maintain machine learning models to solve complex business challenges within the energy and urban sectors.
- Clean, transform, and analyze large-scale structured and unstructured datasets to identify trends and operational bottlenecks.
- Create interactive data visualizations and executive dashboards using tools like Power BI or Tableau to communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with data engineers to ensure robust data pipelines and data quality across all internal systems.
- Automate reporting processes to improve operational efficiency and decision-making speed.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, and Predictive Analytics to keep Sembcorp at the industry forefront.
- Provide technical support and guidance on data-driven projects across various business units.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum 2-4 years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or AI model development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, with strong expertise in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch).
- Solid understanding of statistical modeling, data visualization techniques, and exploratory data analysis.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings into clear business strategies for non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset toward continuous process improvement.
