Responsibility
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, kitchens, and service stations to ensure a hygienic and welcoming environment for guests.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down event spaces, including arranging tables, chairs, and decor for functions, weddings, and corporate events.
- Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation, plating, and presentation tasks as needed.
- Manage inventory of tableware, glassware, and utensils, ensuring adequate supplies are available for service.
- Collaborate with the housekeeping team to ensure guest rooms and public areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and assist with any additional tasks to enhance their experience.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Provide support during peak hours, demonstrating flexibility and a positive attitude under pressure.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a steward or similar role within the hospitality or tourism industry.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene standards (e.g., HACCP, local regulations).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia or other languages is a plus.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move objects up to 15 kg.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and solution-focused approach.
- Prior experience in luxury hotels, resorts, or event venues in Bali is highly desirable.
