Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages following established recipes and presentation standards
- Operate and maintain espresso machines and other coffee equipment
- Assist in food preparation and plating under kitchen staff guidance
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work stations in both barista and kitchen areas
- Provide friendly, efficient service to customers with a focus on creating memorable experiences
- Handle cash transactions and operate POS systems accurately
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barista or in food service preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Basic food handling certification or willingness to obtain one
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Familiarity with Bali's hospitality scene is a plus
