Responsibility
- Greet and seat guests with a warm, professional demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and table assignments efficiently to optimize guest flow.
- Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
- Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and feedback with diplomacy and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front-of-house area, including the host stand and waiting areas.
- Assist in training new team members on service standards and operational procedures.
- Uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards in compliance with local regulations.
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment by supporting colleagues during peak service times.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a front-of-house or guest-facing role within hospitality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages a plus).
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Passion for delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and reservation software (training provided).
