Responsibility
- Assist chefs and kitchen staff in preparing ingredients, including washing, peeling, chopping, and measuring.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Support the cooking process by operating basic kitchen equipment and utensils under supervision.
- Help with the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after service hours.
- Assist in plating and presenting dishes according to established standards.
- Monitor and restock kitchen supplies and ingredients as needed.
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations and food preparation (training provided).
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 10-15 kg).
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Prior experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting is a plus but not required.
- Fluency in basic English or Indonesian to communicate with the team.
