Responsibility
- Perform regular security testing on digital assets, including penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and risk assessments.
- Validate and prioritize security vulnerabilities reported through various sources, ensuring timely remediation.
- Develop and execute test plans to identify weaknesses in systems, networks, and applications.
- Collaborate with development and IT teams to implement security best practices and mitigate identified risks.
- Document findings and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders, including technical and non-technical audiences.
- Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies to enhance testing methodologies.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Participate in incident response activities, including forensic analysis and post-incident reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity testing, penetration testing, or vulnerability assessment.
- Proficiency in using security testing tools such as Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nessus, or similar.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, encryption technologies, and security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and custom tool development.
- Relevant certifications such as CEH, OSCP, CISSP, or CISM are highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences.
