Join CMC Global as an AWS Cloud Engineer (Day-2 Operations) and play a pivotal role in maintaining, optimizing, and scaling our production AWS environments. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned Cloud Operations Engineer with 3–4 years of hands-on experience to work remotely from the vibrant locations of Bali, Indonesia.

Responsibility
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize AWS cloud environments to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployments and updates.
- Automate operational tasks using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK to improve efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Day-2 operational issues, including incident response and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to enhance scalability and cost optimization of cloud resources.
- Conduct regular security audits, patch management, and compliance checks for AWS services.
- Design and implement backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.
- Document operational procedures, best practices, and runbooks for cloud infrastructure.
Qualifications
- 3–4 years of experience as a Cloud Operations Engineer or similar role, with a focus on AWS environments.
- Strong proficiency in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM, VPC, etc.).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, etc.).
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, ECS, EKS) and orchestration tools.
- Scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, DevOps Engineer, or Solutions Architect) are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
