Responsibility
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality, performance, and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to ensure quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JMeter) to improve efficiency and test coverage.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
- Conduct regression testing, performance testing, and load testing to ensure software scalability and reliability.
- Develop and maintain test automation scripts in languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript to support continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
- Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in software quality assurance to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance, testing, or a related role, with a focus on automation.
- Proficient in test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or Cypress, and scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI) and database testing (SQL).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a passion for delivering high-quality software.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, global team environment.
- Certifications such as ISTQB, Agile, or Scrum are a plus.
