Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security weaknesses.
- Develop and implement remediation strategies to address identified vulnerabilities and threats.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective resolution of security issues.
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents to proactively mitigate risks.
- Maintain and update security documentation, including policies, procedures, and incident reports.
- Stay current with emerging cybersecurity trends, tools, and best practices.
- Participate in security audits and compliance assessments to ensure adherence to industry standards.
- Provide training and guidance to internal teams on cybersecurity best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on vulnerability management and remediation.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
- Experience with security tools, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and analysis.
- Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+, are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with global teams.
