Responsibility
- Oversee and maintain global network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Lead network monitoring, diagnostics, and troubleshooting for international clients, resolving incidents with minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and optimize network solutions tailored to enterprise needs.
- Implement and enforce security protocols, compliance standards, and best practices to safeguard network integrity.
- Conduct performance analysis and capacity planning to proactively address scalability and efficiency challenges.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and operational staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Document network configurations, changes, and incident reports for audit and knowledge-sharing purposes.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies (e.g., SD-WAN, 5G, cloud networking) and recommend innovations to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field; CCNP/CCIE, JNCIE, or equivalent certifications are a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in network operations, engineering, or architecture in a global or enterprise environment.
- Expertise in Cisco, Juniper, or Huawei networking hardware and protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPN, QoS).
- Strong knowledge of network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption) and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, ITIL).
- Proven ability to analyze complex network issues using tools like Wireshark, SolarWinds, or PRTG.
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid infrastructure integration.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills in a multicultural setting.
- Willingness to work in shift-based or on-call rotations to support 24/7 operations.
