Responsibility
- Assist in monitoring and analyzing security alerts and incidents to identify potential threats.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity policies, procedures, and controls.
- Participate in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing under supervision.
- Help maintain and update security documentation, including incident reports and compliance records.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into system developments.
- Conduct research on emerging cybersecurity trends, tools, and technologies.
- Assist in security awareness training and initiatives for employees.
- Provide support for security audits and risk assessments as needed.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, including network security, encryption, and threat detection.
- Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, or vulnerability scanners is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with teams.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment with a proactive mindset.
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST) is advantageous.
