Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines to support business operations and analytics.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to understand data requirements and deliver robust solutions.
- Implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure accurate and timely data integration from various sources.
- Optimize database performance, query efficiency, and data storage solutions.
- Monitor data pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements for reliability and scalability.
- Ensure data security, compliance, and governance standards are met across all pipelines.
- Document data pipeline architectures, processes, and best practices for team reference.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in data engineering and backend development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Backend Developer, Data Engineer, or similar role, with a focus on data pipelines.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and data warehousing solutions.
