Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright and other modern tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies, ensuring comprehensive coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, working closely with developers to drive timely resolutions.
- Optimize test suites for performance, reliability, and maintainability, reducing execution time and false positives.
- Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and deployment.
- Mentor junior QA engineers, sharing best practices in automation, debugging, and test design.
- Conduct root cause analysis for critical defects and propose preventive measures to improve product quality.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in test automation, performance testing, and quality assurance methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 3 years focused on test automation.
- Expertise in Playwright (or similar tools like Cypress, Selenium) and scripting languages (JavaScript/TypeScript, Python).
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
- Experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and performance testing tools (JMeter, k6).
- Proficiency in version control systems (Git) and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a knack for breaking complex systems.
- Strong communication skills to articulate technical issues and solutions to stakeholders.
