Responsibility

  • Provide Level 2 application support for enterprise systems, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for production incidents and implement preventive measures.
  • Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize application efficiency.
  • Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to deploy patches, updates, and fixes.
  • Document technical issues, solutions, and best practices for knowledge sharing.
  • Escalate complex problems to Level 3 support or vendors when necessary.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 system availability.
  • Assist in testing and validating new application releases and configurations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in application support, IT operations, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of troubleshooting methodologies and diagnostic tools.
  • Experience with enterprise applications, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and APIs.
  • Familiarity with Linux/Windows server environments and scripting (Python, Bash, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certifications in ITIL, AWS, or similar are a plus.
