Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and monitor security policies, standards, and procedures to protect organizational assets.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address security gaps.
- Manage and maintain firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint security solutions.
- Oversee IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud services, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into software and systems.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR) and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001).
- Provide technical guidance and training to staff on cybersecurity awareness and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, IT systems engineering, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in security tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR) and network protocols.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and secure configuration management.
- Strong knowledge of encryption, authentication, and access control mechanisms.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or CCNA Security are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
