Responsibility
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customs clearance processes and reduce operational inefficiencies.
- Analyze existing customs systems and workflows, identifying opportunities for automation and optimization.
- Develop and implement standardized best practices across the Customs Business Unit.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate advanced customs management software and tools.
- Ensure compliance with local and international customs regulations, minimizing risks and penalties.
- Train and mentor teams on new processes, systems, and regulatory updates.
- Monitor KPIs and performance metrics to measure the impact of process improvements.
- Act as a liaison between customs authorities, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in customs operations, process improvement, or logistics management.
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations, trade compliance, and supply chain processes.
- Proven experience in leading process optimization or Lean/Six Sigma projects.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Proficiency in customs management software (e.g., SAP GTS, Oracle GTM) is a plus.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
