Responsibility
- Process and prepare customs documentation accurately and efficiently to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
- Coordinate with customs brokers, government agencies, and internal teams to resolve clearance delays and issues.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and adherence to customs procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns related to customs clearance.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customs laws, tariffs, and trade agreements to ensure compliance.
- Assist in auditing and verifying shipment details to prevent discrepancies and delays.
- Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to streamline customs clearance processes.
- Generate reports on customs clearance activities and provide insights for process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in customs clearance, logistics, or international trade.
- Strong understanding of customs regulations, import/export procedures, and trade compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders effectively.
- Proficient in using customs clearance software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
