Responsibility
- Act as the primary liaison between clients, fleet drivers, and port authorities to facilitate smooth cargo movement.
- Manage and process critical shipping documentation, including bills of lading, customs declarations, and delivery orders.
- Coordinate daily dispatch schedules for drivers to optimize delivery routes and ensure on-time performance.
- Monitor real-time shipment statuses and provide proactive updates to customers regarding their cargo.
- Resolve logistical discrepancies and customer inquiries with speed and professional excellence.
- Maintain and update internal logistics management systems with accurate transactional data.
- Collaborate closely with warehouse and operations teams to align delivery schedules with inventory availability.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a customer service or operations role within the logistics, shipping, or freight forwarding industry.
- Fundamental knowledge of port procedures, customs regulations, and supply chain terminology.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English to effectively coordinate with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and familiarity with logistics ERP software.
- Exceptional multitasking abilities and the capacity to remain calm under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a high level of attention to detail.
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
