Responsibility
- Handle customer inquiries and provide timely, accurate information regarding shipments, tracking, and documentation.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless freight forwarding operations.
- Process and manage shipping documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs forms.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues efficiently, maintaining high levels of satisfaction.
- Monitor shipment statuses and update customers on delivery timelines and potential delays.
- Assist in preparing reports and maintaining records of shipments, transactions, and customer interactions.
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to improve service delivery and customer experience.
- Stay updated on industry regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices in freight forwarding.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in freight forwarding or logistics.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with logistics or ERP software is a plus.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of customs regulations, shipping procedures, and international trade is advantageous.
- Willingness to work in shifts if required and adapt to changing business needs.
