Responsibility
- Develop and implement quality control systems to ensure product compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Conduct thorough root cause analysis for customer complaints and non-conformities, proposing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
- Monitor and report on key quality metrics (e.g., defect rates, customer returns) to drive data-driven decision-making.
- Lead customer audits and inspections, ensuring alignment with contractual and regulatory obligations.
- Train and mentor staff on quality best practices, standards, and customer-specific requirements.
- Review and approve documentation, including inspection reports, test protocols, and quality manuals.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, preferably in manufacturing, automotive, or logistics sectors.
- Strong knowledge of quality tools (e.g., 8D, 5 Why, FMEA, SPC) and standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
- Experience with customer-facing QA roles, including handling complaints, audits, and CAPA implementation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in MS Office and quality management software (e.g., SAP, Minitab).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
- Certifications in Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt) or Lean Manufacturing are a plus.
