Responsibility
- Assist head chefs and kitchen staff in daily food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and marinating ingredients.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen workspace in compliance with food safety standards.
- Support the cooking process by measuring ingredients, operating kitchen equipment, and plating dishes.
- Help with inventory management, including stocking supplies and rotating perishable items.
- Follow recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down kitchen stations before and after service.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient meal service.
- Adhere to workplace safety protocols and report any hazards or equipment malfunctions.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food handling (training provided for beginners).
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 10-15 kg.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills in English or Bahasa Indonesia.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions from senior kitchen staff.
- High attention to detail, especially in food preparation and hygiene.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Prior experience in a kitchen or culinary setting is a plus but not required.
