Responsibility
- Operate and maintain sterilization equipment, including autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Inspect, assemble, and package medical instruments and supplies for sterilization, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Monitor and document sterilization processes, maintaining accurate records for quality assurance and audits.
- Collaborate with surgical and clinical teams to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments and equipment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and manage stock levels of sterilization supplies to prevent shortages.
- Train and supervise junior staff on CSSD procedures, safety protocols, and equipment handling.
- Report malfunctioning equipment or deviations in sterilization processes to the charge nurse or department head.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in compliance with healthcare and occupational safety standards.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (S.Kep or Ners) with a valid Indonesian nursing license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a CSSD, operating room, or related healthcare setting.
- Certification in infection control or sterilization techniques is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of sterilization methods, healthcare regulations, and infection prevention protocols.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using sterilization equipment and maintaining documentation.
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
