Responsibility
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU, ensuring adherence to medical protocols and best practices.
- Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, including vital signs, ventilator settings, and hemodynamic status, and respond promptly to changes.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and specialized treatments as prescribed by physicians, while maintaining accurate documentation.
- Operate and troubleshoot advanced life-support equipment, such as ventilators, defibrillators, and infusion pumps.
- Collaborate with doctors, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients’ families, helping them understand treatment plans and care procedures.
- Ensure infection control and safety standards are maintained in the ICU, including proper sterilization and equipment handling.
- Participate in emergency response situations, including code blues, rapid responses, and disaster preparedness drills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Valid nursing license and registration with the relevant healthcare authority (e.g., Indonesian Nursing Council or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an ICU, critical care, or high-dependency unit (HDU) setting.
- Proficiency in critical care nursing techniques, including ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS).
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize care in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required in a 24/7 healthcare environment.
