Responsibility
- Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill patients in ICU, ER, or CCU settings, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and best practices.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs, lab results, and response to treatments, with a focus on rapid intervention.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency treatments as prescribed, while maintaining accurate documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Operate and troubleshoot advanced medical equipment, such as ventilators, defibrillators, and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
- Educate patients and their families on critical care procedures, recovery expectations, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Participate in emergency response teams, including code blues and rapid response situations, with a calm and decisive approach.
- Maintain compliance with infection control policies, safety regulations, and ethical standards in all clinical practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent; valid nursing license in the Philippines or Indonesia.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care nursing (ICU, ER, or CCU) in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); PHRN certification is a plus.
- Strong clinical skills in patient assessment, emergency interventions, and critical care procedures.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical equipment common in critical care units.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work under pressure in high-stress environments while maintaining composure and precision.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on advancements in critical care nursing.
