Responsibility
- Coordinate the recruitment, selection, and deployment of qualified seafarers for maritime operations.
- Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations and company policies regarding crew management.
- Manage crew documentation, including contracts, certifications, and travel arrangements.
- Monitor and evaluate crew performance, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement.
- Liaise with vessel operators, agents, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless crew changes and rotations.
- Organize and oversee training programs to enhance crew skills and safety awareness.
- Maintain accurate records of crew data, including qualifications, experience, and performance evaluations.
- Address crew welfare issues and ensure a positive working environment onboard vessels.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in crewing, maritime HR, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of international maritime regulations and crew management practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with crew members and stakeholders.
- Proficient in using maritime crew management software and HR tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is required.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed.
