Responsibility
- Coordinate the deployment and rotation of seafarers across assigned vessels.
- Manage crew assignments, ensuring compliance with STCW and flag state regulations.
- Liaise with vessel masters, crewing agencies, and internal stakeholders to optimize crew changes.
- Maintain accurate records of crew certifications, contracts, and performance evaluations.
- Monitor crew welfare and address any operational or logistical challenges.
- Assist in budgeting and cost control for crewing-related expenses.
- Prepare reports on crew performance, turnover, and operational metrics.
- Stay updated on maritime labor laws and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in crewing coordination or maritime HR.
- Strong knowledge of STCW, MLC, and other maritime regulations.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in crewing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
