Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive training programs for new and existing crew members on baking techniques, recipe execution, and kitchen operations.
- Oversee daily baking production, ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Develop and update training materials, including manuals, guides, and visual aids, to support crew development.
- Monitor crew performance and provide constructive feedback to improve skills and efficiency.
- Assist in inventory management, including tracking ingredients, supplies, and equipment to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Collaborate with the management team to implement new recipes, processes, or operational improvements.
- Lead by example by actively participating in baking and production tasks during peak periods.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork and continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Baker or in a similar role within the hospitality or food industry, with at least 2 years in a training or supervisory capacity.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredient properties, and food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and motivate diverse teams.
- Hands-on experience with commercial baking equipment and tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
- Certification in food safety or culinary arts is a plus.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian or other languages is an advantage.
