Responsibility
- Oversee and manage credit support processes, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct thorough credit risk assessments for clients, including financial analysis, collateral evaluation, and exposure monitoring.
- Collaborate with relationship managers, underwriters, and legal teams to structure and approve credit facilities.
- Monitor credit portfolios, identify early warning signals, and recommend proactive risk mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present credit reports, recommendations, and risk assessments to senior management and credit committees.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation of credit agreements, amendments, and renewals.
- Provide exceptional client service by addressing credit-related inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
- Stay updated on industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes affecting credit risk management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees (e.g., MBA, CFA) are a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in credit analysis, risk management, or a similar role within the banking/financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of credit principles, financial statements, and risk assessment methodologies.
- Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and make data-driven recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and credit risk management software/tools.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance in all credit-related activities.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced, global environment.
