Responsibility
- Conduct thorough credit investigations for Business Loan and Agricultural Loan applicants to assess their financial stability and repayment capacity.
- Verify and analyze financial documents, including income statements, balance sheets, tax returns, and bank statements, to determine creditworthiness.
- Perform field visits and interviews with loan applicants to gather additional information and validate provided data.
- Prepare detailed credit reports and recommendations for the loan approval committee, highlighting risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with loan officers and underwriters to ensure compliance with the bank’s lending policies and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate the financial performance of existing borrowers to identify early signs of distress and recommend appropriate actions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all credit investigations and related documentation in the bank’s system.
- Stay updated on industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact credit risk assessment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in credit investigation, financial analysis, or a similar role within the banking or financial services sector.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial statements and assess credit risk.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to conduct professional interviews and field visits.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and experience with financial analysis tools or banking software.
- Knowledge of local banking regulations, lending policies, and credit assessment methodologies.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional local dialects are a plus.
