Responsibility
- Monitor and manage accounts receivable to ensure timely collections and minimize overdue payments.
- Conduct regular credit checks on new and existing clients to assess financial risk.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and disputes in a professional and efficient manner.
- Prepare and distribute monthly statements, invoices, and payment reminders.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to maintain positive client relationships.
- Generate financial reports and analyze aging receivables to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements related to credit control.
- Assist in the development and implementation of credit control procedures and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or a similar financial role.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, credit management, and risk assessment.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel (advanced skills preferred).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact with clients and internal stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities to resolve financial discrepancies.
- Familiarity with international financial regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
