Responsibility
- Monitor and manage the company’s accounts receivable portfolio to ensure timely collections and minimize overdue payments.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with clients via phone, email, and in-person meetings to resolve outstanding invoices.
- Develop and implement effective credit control policies and procedures to reduce bad debt exposure.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on collection performance, aging analysis, and debt recovery status to management.
- Collaborate with the sales team to assess customer creditworthiness and set appropriate credit limits.
- Negotiate payment plans with delinquent accounts and escalate unresolved cases to senior management or legal teams when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities in the company’s ERP or accounting system.
- Provide exceptional customer service while firmly enforcing credit terms to balance client relationships with financial objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) are a plus.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or debt collection, preferably in a corporate or multinational environment.
- Strong understanding of credit management principles, financial statements, and collection strategies.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations diplomatically.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and familiar with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines in a high-volume environment.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
